Signed Limited Edition Risograph Print by Madeline Donahue
297 x 420 mm
Edition of 100
The American artist Madeline Donahue makes eye-catching works in a variety of media—but she is best known for her humorous take on the absurdities and banalities of early parenthood. Slingshot is the quintessential Donahue, and originated in a series of drawings made during covid and after the birth of Donahue’s second child, tableau inspired by living in close quarters with two young children. In the image the older child uses the new baby as a projectile in a slingshot improvised from the mother’s underwear.
