Celine Dion – All the tears turned to dust
397 x 426mm
Rachel Louise Hodgson is a multidisciplinary artist living and working in London, England. Known for portraying themes of self-loathing, feminine hysteria and unfiltered emotion through a self-aware and humourful lens, Hodgson describes drawing as “how I expressed myself when I was unable to take part in the world and is still how I deal with feelings daily.” Bristling with hairy legs and blood stains, the rainbow-coloured self-portraits of the former Rookie Mag and Polyester zine photographer offer an unflinching document of the self.
Hodgson is a graduate of the Royal Drawing School and received Christie’s Best Drawing of the Year 2017-2018 for her large work My Shoes. Her work has been exhibited in Christie’s (London), as well as group shows worldwide.
The original work of ‘Celine Dion – All the tears turned to dust’ is a 125.5 x 134.5cm oil pastel drawing on paper. Elephant Kiosk is proud to be the exclusive stockist of this limited-edition print.
